What the Rako RSR-DLI is
The Rako RSR-DLI is a DALI interface for Rako wireless systems. It addresses DALI ballasts individually and groups them, unlike the RDA-800, which controls drivers from a single output. The WSR-DLI is the wired-system equivalent.
Where it sits in a Rako system
It is controlled from a Rako keypad, such as the RK-EOS-6, or any Rako wireless transmitter including the RK-HUB. It stores up to 16 scenes. Program it with RASOFT Pro through a RAMPI or Hub. See all Rako wireless modules.
Ratings and limits
- Up to 64 DALI ballasts
- Up to 15 groups in a single room
- DT6 and DT8 ballasts, including RGBW and colour-tunable control
- Up to 16 scenes
Power and connection
It runs from 12V DC, with the power supply included, and has a 4-way screw terminal. It communicates with the Rako system by FM radio at 433.9MHz and with the ballasts over DALI. Rako's RSR-DLI instruction manual covers installation.
Fitting
It measures 190 x 105 x 66mm, weighs 340g and operates from +2°C to +40°C.
Questions
How many DALI ballasts can the Rako RSR-DLI control?
Up to 64, in up to 15 groups within one room.
Does the RSR-DLI support tunable white?
Yes, with DT8 ballasts. Rako lists RGBW and colour-tunable control with DT6 or DT8 ballasts.
What is the difference between the RSR-DLI and the RDA-800?
The RSR-DLI groups individually addressed DALI ballasts; the RDA-800 sends one 0-10V, DSI or DALI control signal.
Does the Rako RSR-DLI need a hub?
No. Any Rako wireless transmitter, such as a keypad, can control it. An RK-HUB adds app control, voice assistants and timed events.
