What the Rako WM-CUB is
The Rako WM-CUB is a twin-relay insert card for curtain, screen and blind motors. For a stand-alone wireless module, see the RACUB; browse Rako wired blinds.
Where it sits in a Rako system
The WM-CUB plugs into one of the eight slots on a RAK8-MB motherboard and can be mixed with other RAK8 cards. It has no memory of its own: programming is stored on the motherboard, so cards can be swapped without reprogramming. It needs a RAK-LINK in a wired system or an RX-LINK in a wireless one. It is programmed in RASOFT Pro and controlled from Rako keypads, remotes and the Rako app. See the Rako RAK system.
Ratings and limits
- Twin relays: open, stop and close
- Motors: 240V AC, 24V DC or dry-contact
Power and connection
The card takes power and control from the RAK8-MB, which runs from 230V AC 50Hz and needs a 10A Type B MCB. Rako's RAK8-MB instruction manual covers installation, which should be done by a competent electrician.
Fitting
Plugs into a RAK8-MB slot. The motherboard must be mounted vertically so its ventilation works.
Guide: Rako curtains and blinds: control them from the same keypad as the lights
