What the Rako DIN-DLI is
The Rako DIN-DLI is a DIN-mounted controller for an addressable DALI network. Compared with the single-room WSR-DLI, it spreads its 64 ballasts across up to 16 rooms; the WMR-DLI is Rako's other multi-room DALI controller.
Where it sits in a Rako system
It sits on the DIN bus behind a DIN-LINK, which links the DIN modules to the Rako wired network and is powered by a DIN-PSU-100. Programming is done in RASOFT Pro and needs a WK-HUB. Wireless keypads can control it through a WK-HUB or WRB100. See the Rako DIN range.
Ratings and limits
- Up to 64 DALI ballasts
- Up to 16 rooms
- DT6 and DT8 (RGBWAF/Tc) ballasts
- Uses 16 of the DIN-LINK's 64 DPU
Power and connection
Powered via the DIN bus through a 4-way screw terminal, with push terminals for the DALI line. Rako's DIN-DLI instruction manual covers installation, which should be done by a competent electrician.
Fitting
Mounts on a top-hat DIN rail (IEC/EN 60715) and is 9 DIN modules wide (157 x 110 x 59mm, 210g), with 150mm vertical clearance required. It operates from +2°C to +40°C.
Questions
How many DALI ballasts can the Rako DIN-DLI control?
Up to 64, across up to 16 rooms.
Does the DIN-DLI support tunable white?
Yes. Rako lists DT8 ballasts, covering RGBWAF and tunable white (Tc).
Does the DIN-DLI need its own power supply?
No. It is powered from the DIN bus, fed by the DIN-LINK and DIN-PSU-100.
