What the Rako WK-HUB is
The Rako WK-HUB is a network interface for Rako wired systems, providing local programming, app control and IP integration with third-party control systems. Unlike the RK-HUB, it has a Rako wired port and draws power from the wired network, and it also acts as a wired-to-wireless interface.
Where it sits in a Rako system
It connects by RJ11 to the Rako wired network, for example at a RAK-LINK or a DIN-LINK, and by RJ45 to your router. Rako requires a WK-HUB to program a wired DIN system. It stores the project's room, channel and scene data for the Rako app. See the Rako Hub range.
What it adds
- Rako app control and IP integration
- Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Apple Home and Sonos via the cloud gateway
- Timed events, including dawn and dusk
- Mappings and macros with conditional steps
- Holiday mode
- Wired-to-wireless bridging at 433.9MHz
Power and connection
Powered at 12-18V DC from the Rako wired network through its RJ11 port. It has an RJ45 Ethernet port. Rako supplies an Ethernet cable, an RJ11 Rako wired cable and a 433.9MHz antenna. Rako's WK-HUB manual covers setup.
Fitting
Freestanding or wall mounted. It measures 150 x 150 x 30mm, weighs 300g and operates from +2°C to +40°C.
