What the Rako WAVMI is
The Rako WAVMI is a mains switching interface for Rako wired networks. For volt-free contacts, the WAVFR takes up to ten inputs; for a wireless system with a mains PIR, see the RAMVR.
Where it sits in a Rako system
It connects to the wired network, powered at 15V DC from a RAK-LINK. Each input can send scenes 1 to 16, a level, off, toggle or whole-house on and off. A WK-HUB and RASOFT Pro are needed to program it. See all Rako wired interfaces.
Ratings and limits
- Inputs: up to five mains-voltage contact inputs
- PIR connections vary by manufacturer
Power and connection
It needs a 230V AC mains supply and 15V DC network power via the RAK-LINK, with an RJ11 port and punch-down connector. It communicates over CAN. Rako's WAVMI instruction manual covers installation, which should be done by a competent electrician.
Fitting
It measures 190 x 105 x 66mm, weighs 350g and operates from +2°C to +40°C.
